1. Who you are contracting with

MyTruthTeller (mytruthteller.com) is a trading name of Jesse Schellenger, a sole proprietor based in the United States ("we", "us", "our"), with a business mailing address at 936 Swinks Mill Rd, McLean, VA 22102, United States. By creating an account, buying credits, or otherwise using MyTruthTeller (the "Service"), you enter into an agreement with Jesse Schellenger on these terms.

2. Acceptance

By continuing to access or use the Service you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service. You confirm that you are of legal age in your country and, if you are using the Service for an organization, that you have authority to bind it.

3. What the Service is — and is not

MyTruthTeller is an entertainment product. It records short spoken answers through your own camera and microphone, measures rough motion, gaze, blink and voice-timing signals, and combines those with AI commentary on your wording and apparent emotion to produce a playful "verdict".

MyTruthTeller is not a lie detector. It is not scientifically validated, has no forensic or diagnostic value, and must never be used to screen employees, assess credibility in legal, insurance, medical, immigration, disciplinary or investigative matters, or to make any decision that affects a person's rights, safety, employment, reputation or finances. You are solely responsible for how you use results.

4. Accounts and accuracy

You must give accurate registration information and keep it current. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.

5. Acceptable use

You must not:

• use the Service unlawfully, fraudulently, or for spam;
• record any person without their clear, informed and freely given consent;
• use the Service to harass, coerce, intimidate, defame or discriminate against anyone;
• present MyTruthTeller output as evidence, expert opinion, or a factual finding about a person;
• infringe anyone's intellectual property, privacy or other rights;
• interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including malware, probing, scraping, reverse engineering, or circumventing technical or usage limits;
• resell, sublicense or redistribute the Service or access to it.

6. Your content

Spoken answers may be converted to text in your browser and, together with the numeric signal scores, sent to our AI providers so a verdict can be generated. You grant us a limited licence to host and process this content solely to operate the Service. You confirm you hold the rights needed to submit it.

7. Licence and intellectual property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial entertainment. All software, models, prompts, documentation, design and branding in the Service remain our property or that of our licensors.

8. Credits, payment and subscriptions

The first three sessions on a new account are free. After that, one credit is consumed per completed session. Credits are sold in one-time packs, do not expire, have no cash value, and are not transferable between accounts.

Payments are processed by Stripe. When Stripe's full compliance handling applies to a transaction, Stripe acts as the merchant of record for tax, fraud, dispute and transaction support purposes. Otherwise Stripe processes the payment on our behalf and we remain the seller of record.

9. Service level

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any result it produces will be accurate. To the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, a security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service at any time. On termination your right to use the Service ends; unused credits are forfeited where termination follows your breach.

11. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages, including lost profits, lost data or damage to goodwill or reputation. Our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

12. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the Service, your use of results in a prohibited context, or your breach of these terms.

13. General

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Jersey, United States, and the courts located there have exclusive jurisdiction, without limiting mandatory consumer rights in your country of residence. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these terms and will change the date above when we do.
